2015 reflection


What one event, big or small, are you going to tell your grandchildren about?
Going against the grain of what’s expected (college after high school) and the struggles that come with it.
 
If you had to describe your 2015 in 3 words, what would they be?
Adventure. Growth. Independence.

What was the most important lesson you learned in 2015?
I have got to do what is best for myself, first.

What was your biggest breakthrough moment career-wise?
Honesty with my boss + escaping the basement. #nannylife

What little things did you most enjoy during your day-to-day life?
Yoga + exploring coffee bars + reading in my free time.

What was your most common mental state this year (e.g. excited, curious, stressed)?
Anxious.

Was there anything you did for the very first time in your life this year?
Rode in a propeller plane. Learned to jump start my car + later crashed my car.

What was your favorite moment spent with your friends?
Coffee dates after school + coffee dates during visits home.

Which worries turned out to be completely unnecessary?
Worries of disappointment.

What experience would you love to do all over again?
Being home for winter break. Alec + Mariah in Chicago.

How did your overall outlook on life evolve?
The contentment of being alone.

What was the biggest problem you solved?
Not liking my job situation + where I live.

What purchase turned out to be the best decision ever?
Plane ride home. Chicago experiences + coffee!

What one thing would you do differently and why?
End high school with more friendships because friends are good.

What do you deserve a pat on the back for?
Surviving the aftermath of crashing my car - The tickets, new car purchase, insurance calls + bills.

What topics did you most enjoy learning about?
The news + our future President.

What advice would you give your early-2015 self if you could?
Go big or go home.
